Reductions in retirement income for early retirement are not made up after reaching the specified retirement age. The only benefit is being able to start drawing sooner. There is a dilemma about increasing the retirement age. This can reduce the number of jobs available to young people hoping to enter the workforce.
Many seniors are forced out of the workforce before they reach retirement age and have to compete with the youth for entry-level wages.
Planning for retirement has to begin early with strategies for the rules changing and probably not in your favour.

Our benefits are different, and my main worry is our job market. It’s hard enough for most people to find jobs once they’re beyond 50, how are they supposed to even work until, let alone, beyond the regular retirement age, which is currently 65, but there is a lot of talk to have people work longer.
